Here’s the latest so far today. Andrew’s draining tube was removed from his head today. They are going to see how well he does with it out. What should happen is his spinal fluid should go up to his brain and drain naturally or be absorbed naturally on it’s own. They are hoping this will happen. If not, they will have to replace the draining tube and put a shunt in during his next surgery.

Right now they are awaiting news on his heart test. We are all praying that nothing is wrong with his heart and that the doctors just missed this tiny aneurysm the first time. Hopefully we will hear good news tonight!

Andrew was wide awake at 9:00 and started to get sleepy again around 10-11 a.m. He was unresponsive to the doctors, but they think it was because he was asleep. HAHA! Doesn’t he know us Davis’ like to sleep in!? Anyways, for the last 3 hours he has been wide awake and moving around. He’s moving his arm and leg a lot. Today he has been feeling his face and checking it out. Probably checking to see if anything was wrong…since he really has no clue what he looks like at this point.

Mom and Dad are doing good. They are keeping their spirits high and are enjoying being surrounded by Andrew’s friends (and our family). They’re happy they are not alone and send their love our way here in Fort Wayne.

Continue to pray for Andrew as he is trying to get through this!
