Andrew had another good day. His CAT scan came back normal. Which is obviously great news! He received physical, occupational, and speech therapy today. They had him standing again with support and moving his body all around. I mean most of the moving is from the therapist, but Andrew does help too especially on his left side. He cannot lift his head when standing at this point, but he’s lost a lot of dexterity from laying in the hospital bed for a month with three brain surgeries.
They covered or “clogged” his trache tube and had him breathing on his own for 20 minutes today. He did just fine. He could move his mouth and tongue all around, but couldn’t produce any sounds as of yet. After all of his therapies, he did get really dizzy and tired and fell asleep pretty soon after.
My parents did just post a comment in the guest book with even more details. Please read it as they are writing to all of you!
