Just finished talking to Mom and Dad and Andrew is still doing great!.  He now will take walks with my parents holding his left hand and left arm.  My parents are no longer having to keep him steady from holding onto the back of his pants.  Andrew walked like this to Burger King (about a block) to get a milkshake this weekend.  He even crossed a major street to get there!  Mom said he is getting much stronger with his walking every day.

Andrew has even ventured out to an Italian restaurant for dinner with Mom, Dad, and Al, where he ate lasagna, salad, and breadsticks.  This weekend they took him to In & Out Burger, where he had a Double Double, french fries, and a drink.  He is now eating anything and doesn’t need his food cut up into pieces.

Andrew has not gotten sick in weeks.  My Mom is starting to think it was the mineral oil they were giving him to help with his digestion.  Hopefully, things will continue to look good in this area.

Today Mom, Dad, and Andrew spent the day watching the Colts play the Jets.  Go Colts!  Andrew’s friends Josh and Al came over to watch the rest of the game with them and stayed on to watch the Vikings vs. the Saints game.  He is in good spirits and is even staying up later (at night) than usual.

Mom and Dad are taking him to Cedars Senai on Tuesday for a post-neuro check.  They are planning on stopping in to see Dr. Miller or Dr. Pendagast (his old doctors) and going out to eat at their favorite place, Breadsticks.  Andrew is doing really well and Mom and Dad seem to be in better spirits.  They are still being visited by friends, which helps the days go by faster.

We are truely blessed!  Thanks for all of your prayers.
