ANDREW DAVIS BENEFIT

Today was another good day for Andrew. My parents said he was watching TV and even half smiled during King and Queens at an appropriate part.

I talked to Andrew today on the phone and told him how much I missed and loved him and hope to see him soon. My Dad said he took the phone out of my Dad’s hand and put it to his ear on his own. Of course, he couldn’t say anything back, but my parents said he did his half smile when I talked to him. Small, but big steps that are giving us more hope each day!

Mom and Dad are planning on moving into a studio apartment this weekend. It is above my Aunt Jane’s friend’s garage. They are excited to get out of the hotel and ready to be in a place that has a more homey feel. They will be close to my Aunt Jane and Andrew’s house he shares with his friends.

Right now, they are thinking he will be in the Critical Unit for about a week. Then Andrew will be transferred to a rehabilitation center. They are still not sure which facility he will be going to. My parents have definitely seen more growth since his last surgery, so all of our prayers must be working!
